Education

St. Mary's Sunday School meets each Sunday during the regular school year for one hour prior to the 10:30 church service. The youth of St. Mary's form bonds of friendship that extend beyond the church walls.

The older children are currently engaged in a study based on "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens," by Sean Covey. Described by Kristi Yamaguchi, US Olympic Figure Skating Gold medalist, as "An intensive training program for youth to grow and become winners in the competition of life," the program is intended to help teens deal with the challenges of 21st Century life with honesty, courage, faith, and integrity.

Sunday school activities have included the Christmas Pageant, a trip to the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, Easter Egg Hunts, and other events such as roller skating.

There is an active adult education group during the Sunday School hour. The group engages in lively discussions of church and social issues.
